Library is the soul of education institutions. By keeping this in mind we prioritize student’s welfare.

In colleges library plays a vital role. It is a place where students, teachers and other staff have access to variety of resource. Here, people can connect themselves with information, share, grow and help each other to expand their personality.

The goal of library is to ensure that all users have equal access to the resource and providing them resource needed by them on time.

Library Resources:-

  • Our library has more than 52000 books which includes reference books and textbooks as well. We have books on the subjects like, mass media, marketing, information technology, computer science, biotechnology, chemistry, botany, microbiology, psychology, physiology, literature, mythology, economics, law, accounting, marketing, history, & political science.
  • Apart from this we have many good novels. We have many story books in Hindi as well as in
  • We also have Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Atlas, competitive exam books, and General knowledge books. We also have maps in our library.
  • Newspapers like Times of India, Hindustan times and Employment news are available in the library for users.
  • We also provide previous year’s projects to the students for reference purpose.

Library Rules and Regulations:-

  • Maintain silence in the Library.
  • Library cards should be stamped by 30th September, in every academic year.
  • Library cards are not transferrable and valid for the duration of one academic year.
  • Students are requested to submit their I-card while entering in the library, Entry without I-cards is prohibited, and students have to make entry in user register.
  • Talking is not allowed; in case of group discussion related to studies voice should be slow so that others won’t get disturbed.
  • Use of mobile phones/earphones and laptops for educational purpose is allowed but if anyone found using it for entertainment purpose then it is subjected to fined.
  • Eating refreshments of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are requested to obey the instructions of the Librarian.
  • Misbehaviour of any kind will not be tolerated & students can be expelled from the library & fined.

Borrowing process

  • All students must present their library cards before borrowing any library materials.
  • Students are allowed to issue maximum 2 books for the period of 7 days/one week.
  • Reference books, Encyclopaedias, Dictionaries, periodicals, newspapers, and project books are not issued out of the library to anybody.
  • All borrowed materials must be returned on or before the due date written on the date slip on last page of the books.
  • If returned late, overdue fine will be charged for the delayed period.
  • Librarian may recall any book from the any member at any time and member shall return the same immediately.

Damage /Loss of Library materials

  • Users will be held responsible for any damage or loss of library material in their possession.
  • Students are requested to check the books while borrowing; otherwise they will be responsible for damage found afterwards.
  • Lost books must be reported to the Librarian immediately and replaced or paid within 30 days.
  • If the books are lost, then the borrowers shall replace the book of same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the book.
  • Lost books that are recovered must be handed to the library as they remain the property of the college Library.

Each and every user has to follow the above rules and regulations for smooth functioning of the library.

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) it is our country’s own digital platform where you will get books from KG to PG. You will get information in form of books, audios and videos as well and that to without paying anything for the same..
